शिक्षा बचाओ -- Shiksha Bachao

"The child is taken to school, and the first thing he learns is that his father is a fool, the second thing that his grandfather is a lunatic, the third thing that all his teachers are hypocrites, the fourth that all the sacred books are lies. By the time he is 16, he is a mass of negation -- lifeless and boneless." -- Swami Vivekananda

NCERT is all praises for other religions

We have seen how NCERT denigrates the Vedas and the sages in the Vedic era. Now let us see how NCERT presents other religions to the class VI students.

On page 109, the history book for class VI tells the child about Christianity. The child will obviously contrast these carefully selected quotes from the bible against those NCERT chose from the vedas. Also note that the child is not told that the Church considered women to be deprived of soul till the revolution happened as recently as only a couple of centuries ago! The NCERT also fails to tell the child that not a single verse in the Holy Bible is composed by a woman. Contrast this with the misplaced allegations which NCERT makes throughout the book against the Vedic Hindu religion.

Then on page 120 of the same book, NCERT introduces Islam as a "religion of equality". It forgets to tell the child that women are forbidden from offering Namaaz and also that not a single verse in the Holy Quran has been written by a woman.

Even in Indian constitution, the word 'DHARMA' is used synonymous to Religion. DHARMA is that fundamental element out of which anything comes into existence and it is intrinsic part of that object, can not be separated and unchangeable from it.This is axis of its very being just like wheel cannot function if its axle is damaged, so too, anything that does not adhere to DHARMA becomes directionless. For example of a fan, whose existence is for circulating air, if a fan does not circulate air, there is no purpose of its existence and it ceases to be a fan. Here circulating air is a fan's DHARMA. DHARMA arises from KARMA (Bhagwat Gita chapter 2). The state in which any object or individual exists determines its duty and to faithfully abide by that duty takes on the form of the DHARMA of that individual or object and determines the value of KARMA in the form of DHARMA and ADHARMA if the work is not done faithfully abide by that duty.

On the other hand, religion comes into existence from rules, regulations and customs prepared by individuals or group of people to run smoothly that society which can be vary according to environment, both geographical and human and get changes according to time.

DHARMA generates high moral values in humanity gives direction to right and wrong. (SATYAMAVE JAYTE and YATO DHARMSTO TATO JAI) means where is DHARMA there is success. Secular word to the country is given but its "DHARMA NIRPEKSH" in Hindi means a country does not favor the TRUTH. Misuse of DHARMA misdirected the people and damaged the moral values since its inception.
